The RPC server failed to find the Print Spooler

NOTE: The RPC (Remote Procedural Call) server is something that allows remote users to transfer data over a network. The Print Spooler is corrupted or turned off. These two are the main causes of the printer spooler error on your Brother printer.

  • Initially, turn on your Windows computer and sign in using admin rights.
  • Next, open the Administrative Tools folder on your computer. To do so, follow the below instructions.
  • For Windows 10: Click on the Start menu and select All apps > Windows system > Control Panel > Systems and Security > Administrative Tools. 
  • For Windows 8: Open the Control Panel window from the Charms bar display. Select the System and Security option. Click Administrative Tools.
  • For Windows 7: Open the Start menu. Choose the Control Panel option. Click Systems and Security > Administrative Tools.
  • In the opened folder, locate and double-click on the tool named Services. 
  • Now, a window titled Services displaying the list of services that are running on your computer will open. 
  • Locate and select the Print Spooler service. 
  • In the Print Spooler Properties (Local Computer) dialog box, go to the General tab.
  • Now, locate the Startup type preferences and check their status.
  • If its status is not set to Automatic, then from the drop-down menu beside it, choose Automatic.
  • Now, check the status of the service. If it is paused or stopped, then click on the Start or Resume button to start the service.
  • To save the changes, click on the Apply button followed by OK.
  • Restart your computer and the Brother printer.
  • After your computer and the printer restart, perform the driver installation on the computer.
  • While installing the software, make sure that you’re using the latest version of the printer driver. 
  • Install the printer software by following the instructions displayed on the screen.
